Indian television actress and internet personality Urfi Javed (formerly known as Uorfi Javed), gained popularity through her distinctive fashion sense and active presence on social media. She initiated her career with roles in soap operas and achieved widespread recognition in 2021 following her appearance on Voot’s reality show, Bigg Boss OTT.

Javed was born on 15 October 1997 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, to Ifru Javed and Zakiya Sultana. She grew up in a Muslim family and attended City Montessori School, Lucknow, for her schooling. Later, she pursued a degree in mass communication from Amity University, Lucknow.

Her family consists of three sisters, Urusa, Asfi, and Dolly Javed, and a brother named Sameer Aslam. Unfortunately, her childhood was challenging as her father verbally and physically mistreated her mother and siblings.

In 2017, Javed began dating her co-actor Paras Kalnawat from the show Meri Durga, but they ended their relationship in 2018.

Despite being brought up in a conservative Muslim family, Javed openly expressed her lack of belief in Islam or any religion. In 2021, she declared her decision not to marry a Muslim man and mentioned her ongoing reading of the Bhagavad Gita.
